Our Place Peel is a community –based social service agency, mandated to develop and operate residential program for homeless youth aged 16-21 in the region of Peel. Our shelter program, located in Mississauga, provides short-term emergency housing, food, crisis counseling and referrals for young people. As a volunteer in social media you will work with the management team in assisting in the development of effective and current communication strategies, internal and external. You will also assist in social media management, community, youth, partner and donor engagement.

Youth Employment Coordinator 
The Youth Employment Coordinator (YEC) will work collaboratively with the Our Place Peel staff team and community organizations in running the Employment Services for youth aged 16-24 in the Region of Peel. 
The YEC will provide employment supports to youth aged 16-24 years old who are social assistance recipients, youth who are living in the shelter or youth living in the community who are at risk homelessness.
Required duties include employability assessments, group pre-employment training, labour market information, job retention and vocational counseling.
